Israeli Settlers' attacks Surge against Palestinians in occupied West Bank

Jewish Settlers

Jewish Settlers

Where are the foreign ministers of the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain who stood on the balcony of the White House with Netanyahu and assuring the Palestinians that establishing relations with Israel would help solve the Palestinian problem? In two months this year alone, the Israeli army has killed seventy Palestinians while thirteen Israeli settlers have been killed. The Israeli army always has the upper hand in killing Palestinians. There has been no reduction in Palestinian deaths since the Abraham Accords. Building new Jewish settlements in the midst of densely populated Palestinian territories by occupying lands is adding new conflict to an old conflict. Jewish settlers set fire to Palestinian businesses and cars in Hawara, a village in the West Bank. The Settlers and West Bank Affairs' most extreme anti-Palestinian Minister of Netanyahu’s cabinet called for the demolition of Hawara Village. There was a strong reaction to this statement by the Minister of Settlers and West Bank Affairs. The United States condemned the Israeli minister’s statement. The Secretary General of the United Nations and European Union also condemned the Israeli minister’s statement. The cabinet minister later said that he had not used the word correctly. Prime Minister Netanyahu apologized for this and said that he had made a mistake in the use of words.

It seems that Israel is going off the track of democracy. The Israeli cabinet is dominated by religious extremists who are trying to replace Israel’s liberal judicial system and want to replace it with a weak judicial system, in which the judges will not be given much authority. Israelis and American Jews are not happy about it. There are overwhelming protests the Netanyahu’s coalition government. In order to divert the attention of the world media from it, the minister of the Israeli cabinet made a statement against the Palestinians and tried to create tension in the situation. Though, even before this, the Israeli leader and even Prime Minister Netanyahu himself have been talking about pushing the Palestinians into the Jordan River. Ariel Sharon used to talk about sending Palestinians to Arab countries. Netanyahu has treated Palestinian with an iron fist whenever he came to power, and Police brutality increases. More than 700 Palestinians die in Israeli military brutality under Netanyahu’s regime.

Arab rulers are close allies of the US and the West. Billions of Arab Petro-dollars are invested in the economy of these countries. They buy billions of dollars worth of arms from America and Europe and run their arms industries, where thousands of people work. But it is a tragedy that these Arab rulers have not been able to resolve the Palestine conflict in 70 years. In 70 years, America and Europe have made Israel a military power in the Middle East. They sell billions of dollars worth of arms to the Arab rulers, but the Arabs are still weak compared to Israel. America’s Arab allies have never told America that we are always with the United States in solving global conflicts. And America must now find a permanent solution to the Israel-Palestine conflict. Otherwise, there is no purpose for us to be a unilateral alliance. How is it possible for Arabs that Israel is occupying Arab lands and Arab rulers are establishing relations with Israel? This will be a great victory for Israel. Israel has not yet given up an inch of Arab land and Israel has diplomatic relations with Arab countries. And now Netanyahu insisting on establishing ties with Saudi Arabia. Twenty years ago, the late Saudi King Abdullah announced at the end of the Arab League summit in Beirut that the Arab countries were ready to establish relations with Israel if Israel goes back to the borders before the 1967 war and gives back the land to the Arabs, and recognize the establishment of a Palestinian state under the two-state formula. Saudi Arabia should be implemented this Arab League declaration before establishing diplomatic relations with Israel.

Eight Arab countries have established diplomatic relations with Israel, but the core issue of the Arab-Israel conflict remains and there has been no progress in its resolution. What peace did the Arab world get when Egypt established relations with Israel? Jordan had established relations with Israel had the Palestinians been given freedom of movement? The benefit of relations with these Arab countries was only one-sided and was in the interest of Israel.
