Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s role in Jamal Khashoggi’s
Assassination, President Trump said, “maybe he did maybe he didn’t,” President
Biden said, “Crown Prince was involved, but he will not take any action against
the Crown Prince” Does the High-Power Saudi Lobby Has a Role to Influence
President Biden’s Decision?

President Biden "he will not take any action against the Crown Prince"
President Trump "maybe he did maybe he didn't"
Instead of speaking out against Saudi Crown
Prince Mohammed bin Salman, President Trump said, “Maybe he did, maybe he
didn’t” and that was the end of the fact-finding debate. The CIA had
investigated the brutal assassination of Jamal Khashoggi and in its report, the
CIA had given clear evidence of Crown Prince Muhammed’s involvement in the
assassination of Jamal Khashoggi. But despite this, the Trump administration
took no action against Crown Prince, and the business of the life of the Crown Prince
was as usual. President Joe Biden, during his election campaign, called for the
CIA report on Crown Prince Mohammed to be declassified, and the Crown Prince
was called pariah. President Biden acknowledged that Jamal Khashoggi had been
assassinated on Crown Prince’s orders, and now they must pay the price. Then
suddenly what happened? President Biden has said he will not take any action
against the Crown Prince. He will talk to his counterpart Shah Mohammed Salman
instead of the Crown Prince. Prior to the release of the report, President
Biden had spoken to Saudi King Mohmmed Salman on the phone.
Meanwhile, news
channels were showing this slide that the report of Khashoggi’s murder has been
declassified and is coming at any moment. Then it was said that it was delayed.
Shortly afterward, a two-page report was released summarizing the report, and
there was nothing new about it. Everyone knew that Jamal Khashoggi was
assassinated on the orders of the Crown Prince. President Biden has said the
Crown Prince will not be sanctioned. what did President Trump do wrong?
President Trump knew that if he took any action against the Crown Prince, he
would face more than one Saudi lobby and would eventually back down. So,
President Trump bypassed the Saudi lobby and upheld his decision, “Maybe he
did, maybe he didn’t.” perhaps he knew Crown Prince did it. Washington D.C.
Capital of Powerful lobbies.
President Biden did
not release the CIA report on Khashoggi’s assassination under pressure from the
Saudi lobby and just released two pages, nothing was new in it. He also changed
his mind against the Crown Prince. Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman hired two
high-powered lobbies in Washington DC and gave them $60 million to protect
Saudi Arabia’s interests and defend his political future. President Biden has
been working with lobbies in Washington for 40 years and knows the
lobbyists. Lobbyist culture is part of the American political system. Government by
the people, for the people, is just like a billboard. During President Biden’s
six weeks in office, foreign policy, human rights, and the rule of law were key
issues. The way these issues have been handled, is it the success or failure of
the administration that only time will tell?
The Biden
administration’s second major decision in six weeks is to attack a Shiite
militia camp in Syria near the Iraqi border with 500-pound seven bombs, at a
time when everywhere people are facing life and death situation due to
coronavirus, a new war will be doomsday for the people. If dropping the 500-pound bomb is set an example of sending a strong message to Iran, then North Korea
will also send a strong message to Japan by launching a 500-pound missile over
Japan. Then North Korea will send a strong message to South Korea by launching
a 500-pound missile over South Korea. The Taliban will also send a strong
message to the United States and NATO. Everyone will then start sending a
strong message to everyone. The politics of sending a strong message to the
government will also enter the domestic politics of the United States. After
911, President Bush said, “we’re fighting them there, so we don’t have to fight
them here” Now, 20 years later, America is fighting here its own soil. This is
a gross failure of US global leadership to understand and shape the global
world.
