  In his first address after becoming the Prime Minister, Imran khan had politely said to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, “Let’s sit down and talk.” We have suffered a lot of controversies, now liberate the region from confrontation and work together for the economic development and prosperity of the people of both countries. When there is economic development in the region, the security threats of nations diminished. Neither Pakistan will be a threat for India nor India will be a threat to Pakistan. Our economic interests will be paramount, Prime Minister Imran Khan had expressed goodwill views for India. Which was praised in the political and media circles of India. It has taken Prime Minister Narendra Modi almost three and half years to respond to this sincere goodwill of Prime Minister Imran Khan. Even with the speed of a freight train, Prime Minister Modi’s response should have come to Islamabad in three months. However, this is India where the pace of peace, human development, and goodwill decisions with neighbors are always slow.

   Time has proved that the thinking of Indian leaders was wrong, and the decisions were wrong. Indian leaders believed that the war on terror would be a long one and that Pakistan would remain the epicenter of that war. This was a great misunderstanding of Indian leaders, every offer of Pakistan to work together against terrorism was rejected by Indian leaders. Pakistan has saved from terrorism without the help and cooperation of its elder brother India. Many more people have died in India from the coronavirus than from the number of people killed by terrorism in Pakistan, those who died from terrorism in India, the Indian government immediately blamed Pakistan. Now the thousands of people who have died in India from the coronavirus should blame their incompetent government. The government is also hiding the figure of the death toll, lives would have been saved if the Modi government had the administrative ability, a country of one billion people is never locked down for months. India’s economy has been hit hard by the coronavirus, 12 million small businesses have closed forever, 20 million people are unemployed. How soon India’s economy recovers depends on how soon government controls the coronavirus.

   Before the coronavirus, Muslims in India were dying from the Hindu extremist virus, occupied Kashmir had been incomplete lockdown, phone service, the internet was shut down. Newspapers were shut down. Businesses were closed. The Modi government had tried to destroy the economy of occupied Kashmir with these actions. The Modi government was torturing the Kashmiris financially and the Indian Army, which was stationed outside the houses of the Kashmiris, was torturing them mentally and emotionally, countless men from thousands of Kashmiri families were missing. The government was not providing any information about them. International human rights organizations and Amnesty International was barred from visiting Kashmir. In India, on the other hand, Hindu extremists were waging a terror campaign against Muslims in densely populated cities in India. Thousands of Muslims were killed because of Hindu extremist terrorism. Muslim businesses were being looted; the history of Gujarat was being repeated against the Muslims. China has a human rights issue on the radar of the United States and the West. The way in which the human rights of Muslims in India, especially in occupied Kashmir, are being violated, is called India a democratic country. Today’s India is Mahatma Gandhi’s India, nor is it Jawaharlal Nehru’s India.

   When Vice President Kamala Harris was a senator, she strongly condemned the Modi government’s policy against Kashmiris and asked the Modi government to stop all actions against Kashmiris and restore their rights. Kamala Harris is from Tamil Nadu, and she is aware of the history of the Indian Army’s treatment of the people of Tamil Nadu and she will see the Indian army’s treatment of Kashmiris in the same history. The Indian government is not happy that the daughter of Tamil Nadu has become the vice president of the United States. if Pakistan pushes Kashmiris and puts them behind the vice president to raise the issue of serious human rights violations by the Indian government in Kashmir from every platform. ‘Kashmir Life Matter’ is also an issue in occupied Kashmir, while ‘Muslim Life Matter’ is also a problem in India. The rise of Hindu extremism in Modi government is as dangerous as white supremacy in the United States, and there is neo-Nazism in Europe. Democracy has eroded in India under the Modi government. Freedom of the Press is attacked by Hindu extremists. Last month, two university professors were fired under government pressure for criticizing the Modi government India is sliding towards Hindu extremism in the watch of America and Europe. Pakistan’s close ties with China and new ties with Russia are helping keep Pakistan on the path to democracy. The thinking of the Pakistan Army has changed dramatically. Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa’s recent statement reflects the thinking that “We feel it is time to bury the past and move forward.” Before, General Pervez Musharraf in military uniform had gone to Delhi to sign a peace deal with Janata Party‘s Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, but at the last minute, Prime Minister Bajpayee backtracked on a peace deal with Pakistan, as Prime Minister Bajpayee had to get threat from Hindu extremists for signing the peace agreement with Pakistan. The mindset concept that Pakistan’s army does not want peace with India is wrong. In fact, Hindu extremists do not want peace with Pakistan. Gandhi was assassinated by Hindu extremists for recognizing Pakistan.

  Prime Minister Narendra Modi has become a prisoner of Hindu extremists, Prime Minister Modi’s hair has grown, his beard has grown. Prime Minister Imran Khan’s speech in the UN General Assembly, three years ago is in front of him, India has become dominated by Hindu extremists, and now they are looking to Prime Minister Imran Khan, how to get rid of this domination? Prime Minister Imran Khan is more popular among India’s peace-loving citizens than Prime Minister Modi, and they expect Prime Minister Imran Khan to bring peace to India and the region.
